As a student at Orange
Hill Primary School in St James I can recall those days as a 10 year old child my teacher used to allow me to write poems
written by the Honourable Louise Bennett. At concerts I so fascinated, and influenced by those poems that my dream was to
write my own poems and follow in the footsteps of Louise Bennett.
Unfortunately my dream
never came true whilst living in Jamaica, so when I came to
England I realized that this is a land of opportunity so I
am going to pursue with the ambition I once dreamt of.
In 2006 I started writing
my own poems, and recited poems in patois at several events including birthday parties, my style of performance tend to capture
the audience.
I
regard myself as a poet who will entertain you with outrageously funny and rich Caribbean poems, and
enlighten you with history, captivating and educating you with stories and songs in patois and English heritage.
